Don’t give illness a face

DON'T GIVE A ILLNESS FACE

Hair loss is not just a side effect. It is a visible sign that can deeply affect self-perception.

47% of women affected by cancer consider hair loss the most traumatic aspect of chemotherapy. For 8%, it is even a reason for hesitation in starting the treatment journey.

Thanks to the natural hair restoration solution of CRLAB, you can maintain your hair and your image throughout all stages of therapy.

Rediscovering oneself, even during therapy

Unlike traditional solutions, the CNC Hair Prosthetic System does not simply cover. It allows you to maintain your image, without compromise.

It is not a wig. But an integrated system, designed to become part of oneself.

Looking in the mirror and recognizing yourself, every day.

THE RESEARCH STUDY: scientific evidence, not perception

The effectiveness of our hair restoration system was the subject of a study promoted by Salute Donna Onlus and conducted at the National Cancer Institute of Milan.

The research analyzed the impact of the CRL system on women with recurrent breast cancer during chemotherapy-induced alopecia.

The results are clear. The use of the CRLAB system led to a significant improvement in perceived body image and a concrete reduction in psychological distress related to hair loss .

In measurable terms, an improvement of over 10 points was recorded in the Body Image Scale (BIS), a clinical indicator used to assess body perception. A result that highlights a real impact, not only aesthetic but profoundly psychological.

THE RESEARCH STUDY

Beyond the wig: well-being, identity and naturalness

The study highlighted a key element: the CNC hair system is perceived in a radically different way compared to traditional wigs.

It is not experienced as an external object. It becomes part of identity.

Patients report very meaningful testimonials:

“You don’t see yourself as sick. It makes you feel less sick.”

“You don’t have the constant reminder of the illness. You see yourself as a normal person like everyone else”

This represents a fundamental shift: the CNC system does not only manage a side effect, but protects self-perception.

THE RESULTS

Real impact on quality of life

The use of the CNC hair system helps to:

  • maintain a positive perception of one’s image
  • reduce the social stigma associated with illness
  • preserve femininity and personal identity
  • experience daily life with greater naturalness
Over time, the system is perceived as part of oneself, not as a device. And this changes everything.

THE SOLIDARITY PROJECT

ONCO HAIR: a concrete support project

ONCO HAIR is a project created to provide real support to women undergoing chemotherapy.

Developed in collaboration with institutions and foundations, it has already made it possible to donate CRLAB systems to numerous patients in different Italian cities, including Milan and Brescia.

An initiative that combines research, technology, and social responsibility, with a clear goal: making accessible a solution that can concretely improve quality of life.
