These are the ingredients that enabled a company with humble beginnings to become a successful enterprise across Italy and then throughout the world. Founded 50 years’ ago in a small workshop in 1968 in Zola Predosa, in the province of Bologna.

The CRLAB hair prosthetic system has become a reliable solution for people experiencing hair loss.

Year 2011

After a few rocky years during the 2000s, Cesare Ragazzi (as it was known then) was acquired in 2011 by a team of entrepreneurs who relaunched the brand. The CRLAB hair prosthetic system, due its unique patented technology, was recognized for the revolutionary product it was, establishing its position as leader in the hair loss market.

Year 2012

In 2012 a new production plant was opened in Zola Predosa, where the hair prosthetic systems are manufactured using an ISO9001:2015 certified manufacturing process.

The production process combines technology with the highest level of professional skill, making the plant at Zola Predosa the most advanced production site of hair prosthetic systems, not only in Italy and Europe, but in the world.

Year 2014

From this background, the CRLAB trichological line was born in 2014. A complete, innovative range of products to treat scalp problems, restoring hair back to health.

Clinical efficacy tests conducted on our product lines have demonstrated the quality and the results that can be achieved with our treatments.

Year 2022

In 2022 the company acquired two important French entities of the hair sector: the Norgil brand and various centers of Aderans France.

Rebranding Action: the company is promoting the brand CRLAB instead of Cesare Ragazzi Laboratories.

Year 2024

The CRLAB HAIR CLINIC opens in Bologna, a point of reference for hair care and well-being. A unique facility offering clients all the main solutions available on the market: from trichology to regenerative medicine, from hair transplantation to the densification system.

Today

Global expansion began in 2013. Today, CRLAB continues to constantly expand its horizons with a presence of more than 180 centers in over 27 countries around the world.

Due to CRLAB’s professionalism and commitment, the company is regularly invited to present at medical-scientific conferences on an international level.
